Create an activity type tailored to your interventions


Create an activity type that truly fits your business

In Cadulis, every intervention is based on an activity type. This activity type determines:

  • the structure of tasks
  • the forms to use
  • the scheduling rules

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new one step by step.


🛠️ Steps to follow

1. Go to the Catalog menu

From the left sidebar, click on Catalog.

2. Select the Business Unit (if needed)

At the top left, open the dropdown list to choose the relevant entity.

3. Click on Create an activity type

This button is located just below the Your catalog block.


📄 Review the overview page

This page informs you about everything you can customize:

  • forms
  • duration
  • financial data
  • automations, etc.

Then click on Create an activity type (bottom right) to continue.


✍️ Fill in the form information

You will access a new page containing the following fields:

  • Activity type name (required): e.g. “Detector installation”
  • External reference (optional): useful if you have a specific identifier
  • Operation type: leave as “Intervention” to schedule with geolocation
  • Description (optional): specify the context
  • Can contain other activities (optional)
  • Can only be created within a multiple activity (optional)
  • Category: for filtering/sorting
  • Logo: add a visual if desired

Finish by clicking on Create an activity type at the bottom right.


⚙️ Configure advanced settings

Once the activity is created, you are redirected to its configuration page.

Top left

Activity summary: name, type, Business Unit, category.

Top right

Options to customize:

  • Activity form
  • Closing form

Further down, you will find several areas to configure:

  • Custom reports
  • Operation settings
  • Scheduling assistant
  • Advanced settings

🔔 Note If certain features are not enabled (e.g. financial data), a message will notify you.

💡 A “Configure” button allows you to edit the basic data at any time.


ℹ️ Good to know

If you have just created your account, a demo activity type is displayed. We recommend not modifying it, but rather creating your own template tailored to your needs.
