Manage field workers' unavailabilities in Cadulis
Optimize Scheduling by Considering Absences and Specific Working Hours
For reliable and error-free scheduling, Cadulis allows you to manage:
- One-off unavailabilities (leave, absences, appointments)
- Specific working hours (non-working days/hours)
These elements are taken into account by the scheduling assistant and are visible in the schedule to prevent any erroneous assignments.
📆 Add a One-Off Unavailability (Absence, Leave)
- Go to the Schedule view via the Activities menu.
- Locate the relevant field worker.
- Click the padlock symbol next to their name.
- Fill in the fields in the pop-up:
- User and BU (pre-filled)
- Activity type
- Start and end date/time
- Reason for absence in the “Mission” section
- Click Validate.
➡️ The unavailability appears in the schedule as a blue block with a purple border. The field worker becomes unassignable during these hours.
🕒 Set Specific Working Hours
- From the Team menu, click on the field worker’s name.
- Click Edit role, then Edit.
- Go to the Specific working hours (restrictions) section.
- Click the + button:
- Define a date/time range
- Optional: enable lunch break consideration
- Optional: set as default working hours
- Click Validate.
➡️ These ranges appear greyed out in the schedule (not assignable) and are excluded by the scheduling assistant.
👀 Visualization in the Schedule
- Specific working hours: greyed-out areas (BlackBox)
- One-off unavailabilities: blue blocks with purple border
These periods are automatically taken into account by the scheduling assistant.
