Send a reminder SMS 2 days before

Objective

You want your clients to receive an automatic reminder SMS 2 days before their appointment. This helps reduce no-shows and improves customer satisfaction.

With Cadulis, this reminder is automated via a scheduled trigger.

Configuration Steps

1. Create a new scheduled trigger

Go to the “Triggers” tab from your activity type configuration.

  1. Click on “Add a trigger”
  2. Select “Scheduled”
  3. Set the frequency: for example, every day at 8am
  4. Specify the time condition:
    • Example: “2 days before the intervention (date field)”

💡 Cadulis automatically calculates the target date based on the intervention date.

2. Define the action: send an SMS

  1. Choose “Send an SMS” as the action
  2. Write your message using personalized variables:
Hello Mr/Ms {customer.name}, your intervention is confirmed for {date}. Your Cadulis team

✨ You can insert variables such as {customer.name}, {date}, {address}

3. (Optional) Add a custom condition

For example, some users add a custom field on the intervention:

“Is client presence required?”

You can then send the SMS only if this field is set to “yes”.

Advanced condition configuration is detailed in the following guide:
👉 Advanced Trigger

What about emails?

🟦 The same scheduled trigger can be used to send an email instead of an SMS.

For example:

  • A Google review request email, 7 days after the intervention
  • A link to a satisfaction survey
  • An automatic follow-up if no closure has been made
