Create a closing form in Cadulis


Finalize Each Job with a Tailored Form

The closure form allows your field teams to enter end-of-job information: actual date, effective duration, result, photos, remarks, etc.
Its structure is similar to the activity form, but with locked standard fields to ensure data consistency.


🧭 Steps to Follow

1. Access the Closure Form Module

  • Left sidebar menu → Catalog
  • At the top left, select the desired Business Unit
  • Click on an existing activity type
  • On the Activity Type Information page, click Closure Form (top right)

🧱 The 3 Standard (Locked) Fields

Cadulis automatically includes three essential fields:

  • Actual job start (Date/Time field)
  • Actual job end (Date/Time field)
  • Job result (single choice field: OK / KO)

🛑 These fields are locked: you cannot modify or delete them.
They ensure reliable reporting of key data for reports, exports, and automations.


➕ Add Your Own Custom Fields

  1. Click Add a field
  2. Select a field type: short text, signature, photo, list, etc.
  3. Set a unique code (e.g. commentaire_client)
    • ⚠️ Use only lowercase letters, no accents or spaces
  4. Click Add a field
  5. In Edit a field:
    • Set the order, display, description, and specific options
  6. Click Edit to confirm
  7. Return to the list with the back arrow (top left)
  8. Click Test to preview the form

Best Practices

  • Do not duplicate fields that are already standard (start, end, result).
  • Start with a simple version, then enhance based on field feedback.
  • Only add fields relevant to your activity:
    • Examples: Final photo, Customer comment, Field signature
  • Create a different form for each activity type to match varied processes.
