Edit or reschedule a job in Cadulis
Easily Adjust Your Interventions, Even After Creation
Because a schedule is always evolving, Cadulis allows you to modify an intervention at any time: change the date, time, field worker, or even the activity type.
You can also reopen a closed intervention, or cancel it properly without any data loss.
🔁 Reschedule an Intervention
Steps
- From the Activities menu or the schedule, click on the relevant intervention.
- The intervention record opens.
- In the Scheduling section, click on Schedule.
- Choose your method:
- Scheduling assistant (optimized slots)
- Manual assignment
- Select the new time slot or field worker.
- Click Save.
➡️ Instant update in the schedule, synchronized for all users.
- Open the intervention record.
- Click the Edit button (bottom right).
- Edit the desired fields: address, comment, etc.
- Click Save.
🔄 Change the Activity Type
- Open the intervention record.
- Click Change activity type (top right).
- Select another available type.
- Confirm the change.
⚠️ This operation is reversible, but it may affect:
- Associated forms
- Triggers
- Reports
🗃️ Removed fields are kept in Additional data or Previous closure data.
🔓 Reopen a Closed Intervention
- Access an intervention with the closed status.
- Click Reopen.
- An Activity: reopen page opens.
- Toggle the Reopen switch.
- Click Reopen (bottom right).
➡️ The intervention returns to the editable state.
💡 Useful for correcting a closure error or adjusting missing data.
❌ Cancel an Intervention
- Open the intervention record.
- Click Cancel.
- Toggle the Cancel switch.
- Choose a reason from the list:
- Other
- Customer request
- Work order issuer
- Internal
- Missing equipment
- Add additional details.
- (Optional) Enable Remove associated items.
- Click Cancel (bottom right).
➡️ The intervention remains visible with a Cancelled status, a cancellation date, and a traceable history.
- Check the modification history using the dedicated button in the record.
- If you frequently change the activity type, standardize your forms to limit information loss.
- All reschedulings are tracked, which is useful for audits and schedule monitoring.
